  3. Read 13 physical books (also included in the 52).
  4. Read 12 non-fiction books.
  5. Including 4 pro-dev
  6. Celebrate my 35th birthday.
  7. Celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary.
  8. Celebrate the holidays the way they I feel like they should be:
    1. Valentine’s Day
    2. July 4th
    3. Thanksgiving
    4. Christmas
    5. NYE/NYD
  9. Finish my crochet blanket.
  10. Finish Jon & Dad’s blankets.
  11. Start/Finish 2 new crochet projects.
  12. Complete 6 non-crochet craft projects.
  13. Cook a new recipe at least once a month.
  14. Keep Coffee & Crows going all year.
  15. Journal at least once a month.
  16. Write a book.
  17. Get a tattoo.
  18. Lose roughly 40 pounds.
  19. Complete physical therapy.

22 Things to Learn in 22

  1. How to make animaguri – I have a couple of kits so this shouldn’t be too difficult.
  2. A bunch of new crochet stitches. I got a book of stitches, so again, shouldn’t be too hard.
  3. How to do a counted cross stitch – I’ve only done stamped so far. I have several kits waiting for me.
  4. How to do an at-home manicure that doesn’t chip/peel off by day 2.
  5. How to use my mom’s old sewing machine.
  6. How to do embroidery.
  7. How to make intricate friendship bracelets.
  8. Photography – I have a Sony a6 and a fancy phone camera, I should be taking better pictures.
  9. How to speak French and/or German – I’d like to be conversational in one. That’d be more likely to be French, since I already know some.
  10. I’d like to learn more about American history – specifically prehistory and 1800s-WWII.
  11. Make that learning about literally any time period in any part of the world.
  12. Campfire cooking – we’ve been camping a lot and I’d like to step up our outdoor food situation.
  13. Parallel parking without hyperventilating.
  14. Meal planning – I’m terrible at following my plan. So I guess it’s more “learn to follow my meal plan”.
  15. How to be a better cook.
  16. What it really means to eat healthy.
  17. How to meal prep/make freezer meals.
  18. Learn about my new company & industry.
  19. Some basic geometry (Shane suggested this one).
  20. Email marketing – I already know the basics, but a better understanding would be helpful.
  21. How to turn Google Analytics data into actionable steps. Again – this is a “would like to improve my current knowledge” situation.

22 Things in 2022 – Outdoor Edition

  1. Take the kayaks out once a month frequently.
    1. End Of Jan Note: I did not get to take them out in January. I only want to go out with Shane (I am terrified of getting lost in the marsh) and he only gets 2 weekends off a month and I was flying on one of them, so it didn’t work out. The spirit of the goal remains, though.
  2. Take the kayaks somewhere new.
  3. Go kayak fishing with Shane.
  4. Go surf/pier fishing with Shane/Dad.
  5. Go camping (at least) once a quarter.
  6. Camp somewhere new.
  7. Camp somewhere we already love.
  8. Have a picnic in Forsyth Park.
  9. Hike Wormsloe Historic Site…..or just visit it.
  10. Take a kayaking class at Savannah Canoe & Kayak.
  11. Go on a trip with Savannah Canoe & Kayak.
  12. Two words – beach trips. Plural.
    1. Coligny Beach Park
    2. Butter Bean Beach
    3. Back River Beach
  13. Spend the day on Tybee Island.
  14. Do a photoshoot at the Driftwood Beach on Jekyll Island.
  15. Do several outdoor Savannah photoshoots.
  16. Go to the Savannah Botanical Gardens.
  17. Visit all 22 squares.
  18. Hike at the Savannah Ogeechee Canal.
  19. Start running outside – not on a treadmill.
  20. Make it a point to do pool days.
  21. Finalize the camping “bins” and figure out what we do/don’t need.
  22. Get a better tent.
